Hydrodynamic cavitation reactor

In a hydrodynamic cavitation reactor the process liquid is forced at high velocity through constrictions such as orifices, venturis or nozzles. The pressure drop forms vapour bubbles, and their violent collapse produces very high local temperature, pressure and shear without raising the bulk temperature by anything like as much. That phenomenon is our tool for intensifying industrial processes.
